When implementing a new market data provider or moving to a low latency solution
there are several decisions that need to be made to ensure optimal performance.
SpryWare will provide assistance every step of the way to help assure a high-end setup is
put in place with as little latency as possible. When you get ready to plan out and install
your new Market Information Server the implementation process is spearheaded by a
dedicated SpryWare technician from beginning to end.
As described under the Products, Data and Hosting section one of the key decisions is data
center. SpryWare operates fully managed data centers in both New York and Chicago.
The data centers are located at the very source of the exchange feeds minimizing any
latency produced by geography.
Other important decisions include server specifications, connection between the MIS server
and you client apps, and configuration of API’s. Here below we have listed a brief overview
of implementation areas we assist you with:
• What specific data feeds are needed
• Who is providing the data feeds
• What data center are we using
• Will the MIS and the client apps be hosted at the same location?
• Planning and allocate rack space
• Review hardware specification
• Install and configuration of the MIS
• Configure API’s to work with clients
